The sad part is, there a lot of other American track stars that are better and are better representatives but too many people stan for her. They have options but they ignore the better ones for one that is flashy but garbage. Says a lot about society in some ways. The funny part is, I liked her at first so who am I to complain but she is annoying as fukk now. A number of people haven't gotten to that point yet, which is what bothers me.

Thing is once you make all your mess public and decide to be a public figure well the public's gonna react, and you can't control how it will. At some point she somehow became like a symbol of some weird fight against racism, sexism or in the diasporic wars. And as any symbol she's gonna have her die-hard followers as well as her critics. Comes with the territory. If you don't want it stay away manage your social media better and let your running do the talking for you.
