it's a more easy going version of the original and there was something about the movie that hit close to the bone a couple years ago when i watched it again which gives me that little attachment to it.

Devil's Advocate is a heavy-handed, Taylor Hackford-directed dumpster fire that features a horribly-accented Keanu Reeves, a scenery-chewing Al Pacino, and a wooden, but occasionally naked Ashley Judd.










But, it's one of my favorite movies

I've seen it literally hundreds of times

I liked movies like Leonard Pt.6

The first Austin Powers.. hilarious, but lots of ppl didn't like it at first. Then it became one of those "Its cool to like it movies" and the masses flocked afterwards. The humor was very different than the rest of the movies too (new austin powers is in the works btw)

It was a surreal movie, and it captured all of that exceptionally well
Real talk, movies used to have messages like that movie does.
Today's movies are mindless for the most part. Just visual entertainment, nothing thought provoking
Example... Gravity. Movie was average. Then ppl wanted to act like the symbolic scenes wasn't some minor bullshyt details

Let me ask you this.. if you seen Gravity, which movie is better in your opinion?

You can have your opinion, its just an odd one to me. I never heard anyone refer to D.Ad as a shytty movie before

I wouldn't consider myself an "elitist" or anything, I just know when I'm eating junk food.

I really enjoy watching it, as long as I'm not in a nitpicking kind of mood. Like, my suspension of disbelief has to be turned up to 11.
