I am going to have to agree with this. I hate to say it but sometimes when a woman sees a man with another attractive woman she will try to use him as a pawn to validate herself. It's sad but true. It's subconscious like "If I can get him to come after me when he is with her than I am therefore more attractive than her."
Once I was out with my brother. We look nothing a like. We went to this cool spot and we were sitting down talking. I noticed that this attractive chick who worked there was walking by excessively while looking at my brother. I let him know that the girl was trying to get his attention because he was oblivious. Right after I let him know she walks by again. They made eye contact and she used it as a opportunity to be bold and just walk right up to him. She acted like I wasn't even there. She was flirting and smiling. She was telling him where else she worked and to come by anytime. During this conversation I could tell that my brother was happy to be the object of desire but also very confused at the boldness of ole girl b/c to an outsider we could be a couple. Finally, after she tries to exchange numbers he interjects and tells her that I am his sister. I never seen a person change so fast in my life.
Chick just did an about face. Not hi, bye, fukk you, nothing. My brother was confused as hell. I tried to explain to him that she was basic and she was only trying to do that b/c for some reason she was in some make believe competition with me. But his pride wouldn't allow him to believe that I could attract "badder bytches" than him.
He spent the rest of the night playing himself and trying to get her attention. She wouldn't even look at him.
The moral to the story is...don't fall for the okie dokie.
