gotdamn unless they just filmed this part for "entertainment purposes" and we're being worked, how can you not feel bad for Owens there? all he wanted was Vince's approval and he got thrown to the bushes
If you really think about it, it's crazy how many wrestlers have come from difficult family backgrounds or have self esteem issues and are looking for some sort of paternal approval. From anecdotes alone there are a shyt ton.
You could even argue that Vince's whole reason for getting into the wrestling business was to get his dad's approval.

That being said, I think there is a little exaggeration/hyperbole going on in regards to this.
I know Punk made a big deal about PPV payments after the network.
But I thought Papa H was doing a great job, and he's not a part of the problem

Meltzer & Alvarez can just say whatever the fukk & it somehow gets spread regardless of how dumb a take it is. Ricochet has been pretty well booked & anytime he loses a match Alvarez gets real worked up over it for some reason. Couldn't figure out why he lost to McIntyre a couple weeks back, nevermind it being McIntyre returning & being part of the build to this tag match at Crown Jewel, that shyt just didn't compute for some reason.
I'm actually with Chico on this one why are they matching up Drew and ricochet on random raws to pop a rating...those two cats should be protected on tv not losing until ppv matches and they shouldn't be losing alot at that.
