There are cures for cancer it just usually involves surgery(removing it) and catching it in early stages...
Now if you mean why can't we cure End stage cancer...i think the name already answers it for you...but it has to do with the cancer spreading to do many vital organs....can't remove your liver, pancreas, part of your lung etc.. and expect the person to live...
