So you're basically agreeing with what I said.

Look, Nas had a good album. Thats cool and everything, and I'm happy for him, but stop it:stopitslime:. His last album that was accepted critically by stans, fans, and the rest of hip hop was God's Son. HHID, and ****** were NOT loved when they were released so it's ridiculous for you Nas stans to run up out the woodworks and start proclaiming shyt like this. Did ANYONE say anything about Nas being done or flabby when Jay was dropping a dope album and doing features? No one ran up outta nowhere talking about Nas isn't keeping up with Jay. :stopitslime: No one cared about Nas.

You dummies keep trying to take every slight moral victory and run with it while fans of Jay and hip hop in general are perfectly content with his contributions right now

i never said any of that. nas and jay-z both got at least another 10 years of successful careers left. and overall jay always had better albums than nas, he had a bigger force pushing him getting him better production. but when it comes to rapping, he couldnt put together nas mic stand :umad:

He really is... And its his nuance that makes him so great...He doesn't totally sell out and commit to his character.. He picks and choses his spots when to jump out of the window...

u aint lying. he's not a full out troll, but some of the things he says got me like :what:

subpar trolls take note.

Some nikkas feel Jay doesn't have anything to prove. I can agree with that, and it goes without saying that he isn't a full time rapper. However consider this, jay making another classic would moreover cement his legacy...so why not? All in all I just want good music. Not asking for much...I guess.

I just thought about how I've been discussing Jay-Z vs Nas since the day I first joined :hamster:

August 2001 :damn:

As far as the discussion though, BP3 was cool and WTT was dope. Jay's legacy is cemented...I'd love to hear more dope Jay music but I'm satisfied as a fan by the music he's released as a whole. To me he's only dropped two albums that I can't listen to front to back (BP2 & Kingdom Come). That's amazing for someone who's dropped double digits

Jay can drop a .5 album and it has nothing to do with his legacy. He's not a full-time rapper at this point...at this point an album at all is a bonus to his fans.

KRS-One, Rakim, Kane, Kool G Rap, all types of dudes of his stature and in the same age range have no such expectation

man what are u talkin bout. on "3 kings" off the ross album, hov is talkin bout re-upping with live nation so you know he got more albums in him.
