Daniel craig is signed for another 007..as he hinted. He definitely has the accent/voice and smile on deck. 007 idris.

Has the voice, but not the face. Build could also be a bit too big for the tall, lithe bond. And yeah craig is swoll, but he's swoll on a tiny frame. I don't think anyone has a problem with a black bond, he just hasn't come around yet.
I think him playing Bond would be a lazy and uncreative attempt at achieving diversity on film. Give him his own character with the 007 universe. As a fan of his work, I'd prefer he'd have his own character.

Been saying that. Just make another guy who works in MI6 if you're not going to make 007 black. The issue with that though is that the producers are very hesitant to do spinoffs. They were going to do the jinx spinoff with halle berry but casino royale fell in their laps and they did that instead

Sure, he would. He could play James Bond or an agent who went rogue or an agent who works separate operations from Bond or just a new character all together in another franchise which is similar to Bond.

i think elba should stay away from the franchise, it will just cause bullshyt commotion.
I don't think it would happen now anyway but truth be told, based on how they cast bond, it wouldn't be him at this point anyway. He's a name; they like casting cats who are relatively unknown so even someone like Henry Cavil, who's said he'd love to do the role and was the runner up to Craig, is probably too big now.

I think they should re-consider.
Let's be honest, even a spinoff of an invented character would carry more weight with the OG franchise and name behind it than trying to create a Bond-like film for him without their "blessing" or making him Alex Cross or some shyt.
