Y'all know Oscar Robertson was criticized for not connecting with the fans, knocking other teammates, and arguing with management.
So how can you say he was a good teammate or leader.

thats stupid too
I dunno breh.

If you can only have an opinion on players you've seen, then people can literally only talk about players from their generations. Meaning, all you kids born in 1993 can't really say shyt about Jordan, Bird, Magic, Malone, or any of these players that were in their primes while you were still like 6 years old.

And if that's the case, any context for analyzing quality of play, improvements, evolution in the game is non-existent.

None of us were old enough to see Oscar Robertson play but watching retro NBA games and some of the stuff online, dude's game would be perfect for today, dude was a great passer, a skilled shooter, I'm sure he could have developed 3 point range but you can't really use that possession argument against him he's proven to have elite efficiency. Also his passing stats are not inflated but deflated in todays NBA his career assists would be a lot higher. NBA has loosened the time between passing the passing the ball and the assisted scorer making the shot allowing for more assists to be recorded in general.
