[Serious] Kobe Bryant or Oscar Robertson?

If you had to build a team and pick between Kobe Bryant and Oscar Robertson, who would you take?
To be clear, yes Robertson was listed as a PG, but at 6'5, 205 lbs...he's essentially the same size as Kobe (6'6, 200 lbs)

Bryant:
25.4 PPG
5.3 RPG
4.8 ASG
.451 FG%

Most would argue that quality of play has improved since the 1960s and Robertson's heyday and thus Kobe's numbers would be greater

But they are both legendary players.




*FYI -- The 3-point shot was not available during Robertson's career so it's difficult to say whether he could shoot consistently at that range.

Big O was one of the few players who's game could translate in today's NBA though. I haven't seen him play enough to choose him over Kobe but I know that Robertson would still be a great player today even if he didn't average a triple double. He was incredibly skilled, grwat handle, strong as an ox and obviously had a great IQ. Bill Simmons was really hard on him in his book, saying that he was a dikk but w/e Kobe is a dikk too
