I do,I even read his book or at least some of it. Maybe you don't know how horrible his upbringing was and the terrible things he witnessed at the hands of Europeans.
But the truth is he put his daughters in a predominately white sport,with a predominately European audience. And he did so for the money,this is what his children had to go through. When he should have known better due to this upbringing.

Two things happen to black people who experience this type of hate from white people. Either they become extremely racist, or white validation and acceptance becomes an important thing to them. Richard spent to much time teaching his daughters how to be great at tennis,and not enough time teaching them about why they should hate the European. Serena would be pretty if she went more "natural." Her issue has always been the weave/wigs. When you have strong, black features, wearing white people hair just doesn't work for your face. Her wigs/weave never even look remotely natural on her head.
Being an athlete and a mom likely keeps her from really focusing on looking more glam'd up. Hope she ain't skin bleaching. Maybe just wearing crappy makeup.
