My lady has always had her hair natural (sometimes in braids) and I told her straight from day one, I don’t fukk with weaves/wigs. If she ever added that to her hair, I’m dropping her quick. And I’m deadly serious.

Its fukked up how some women try to shame us into accepting that bullshyt. I promise if you surveyed most black men, an overwhelming majority will tell them that’s a major turn off. But when we’re honest, we’re accused of policing black women’s bodies.

And when we try and have an honest dialogue, it’s either “we don’t wear our hair to please your standards” or “we only wear it like this because that’s what y’all like.”

I know my lady wouldn’t touch that crap but I just have so much disgust towards it and what it represents. One of the biggest turn offs for me. If I become single again, I wouldn’t entertain any woman who doesn’t love herself enough to embrace her natural hair.
