How can it target us if our people do not do drugs?
You are blaming the "man" for your own bad behavior.

I refuse this argument.

Doing drugs and the punishment of drugs are two completely separate arguments. This is where you seem to be confused.

The crack-cocaine laws were specifically enacted to disproportionally impact african americans.

I'm not sure reforms were needed.

Just don't do drugs....seems like a pretty easy solution to me.
Stop it. Even if you believe drugs are bad for your health (as do I) there is absolutely nothing good about the way this country has prosecuted minorities for drug related offenses. If Obama can do this I would give him much praise. But for some reason, i don't see him pushing to hard to make this happen

Holder made this happen
Obama's his boss, and has been working on this issue since his days as a Illinois state legislator.

:obama:

One of advantages of the rise of libertarianism in the republican party. I'll take this and anti-spying/war swag over that stupid ass Bush crony conservatism any day of the week.
