Folks shouldn't lose sight of the fact that even if this shyt is dead, Trump and republicans are still sabatoging the ACA in other ways. They are removing funding for risk corridors. They are not reimbursing insurers as initially agreed. They stopped advertising of the enrollment seasons. Several republican states still refuse to expand Medicaid.

The most positive outlook is that in some of these items such as Medicaid expansion and attempts to defund it congressionally will decline if they realize it's here to stay. That is a positive outlook. I don't expect cheeto to do anything different.

I might not agree with McCain's positions but out of general principal, a man who got his Vietnam service DEFERRED because he was rich enough to get out of it shouldn't fix his face to disrespect a dude who was held in a prison camp and tortured for years.

That's grounds for a proper slap in any country, era or time.
