My point about the hospital is don't have a "take all comers" policy but give the heisman to mandatory insurance.
This is going to pass and the republikunts are going to get slaughtered in the mid terms, it's a fact, regardless of the rhetoric from both sides, historically, it will happen. This fukks me personally, if the initial bill stays in tact, but I will figure it out, I will be bankrupt, but fukk it, I would rather be dead broke than see my wife be dead dead. I really feel for the people that didn't vote for Trump (the majority of people seeing as he lost the popular vote) ecspecially the ones that rely on aca, they don't deserve this as much as the hillbilly fukking white nationalists do
I don't necessarily disagree. People are forced to carry auto insurance to legally drive for example.
Thing is with a medicare for all program all this would be moot. They don't want that though because it's not as profitable and because taxes would have to be raised to provide it. for the common person this wouldn't be bad because instead of paying premiums they just pay a bit more in taxes but somebody that's rich doesn't want to pay higher taxes for something they don't need cause if they get sick they can just pay what they need at the time for it and those extra tax dollars they're paying into the system are really just helping others.

Historically, whenever a president passes a major legislative bill, and uses up pretty much the whole of their political capital, their party gets slaughtered in the mid terms, look at Obama with ACA, it's almost a carbon copy, the D's won 3 special elections before the mid terms, and then got fukking ravaged in the mid terms. Consider how unpopular this bill is, 17% approval with the country, there is no possible way for this to pass and these folks not to get fukking slaughtered. Consider how historically unpopular Trump is with the majority of the country, he lost the popular vote, and he certainly has not endeared himself to any independents that gave him spite votes because of Bernie getting fukked. I think it is going to be an epic bloodbath, we will have to disagree on this, and see what happens.i disagree
