This bill will absolutely crater health markets in states. If they start pulling the requirements like prescriptions and maternity care the fallout will be fukking ugly. States like NY,CT, MA, CA will likely make it mandatory they cannot sell policies like that. Insurance companies are going to suffer bloodbath losses and pull out. Leaving 0 insurers in those states. Good luck.

Those costs will bleed into everyone else. They are going to be answering some very uncomfortable questions when their states insurance markets meltdown. Those companies without a mandate are going to pull out THIS YEAR.

They didn't consult with governors, doctors hospitals or anyone in the medical field. This will destroy states budgets. You will see people storming state capitals demanding their health insurance stay exactly the same..even their Obamacare policies. It's gonna be bad.

When...not IF the insurance markets meltdown in states...particularly those who didn't do an exchange or work to make it better are fukked. Every insurer will flee and the costs will price everyone out. States that did will rewrite their state constitutions to keep health on their books.

LOL Insurance companies make their protections in advance you tell them 2 years shyt going away what company is gonna write a policy in the meantime? Fukking Sears is going bankrupt do you see companies sending them stock? No cause they don't wanna eat losses. Same with insurance.

The real falloff will be at the state level. States, governors, hospitals etc who depend on the law and the $$ that comes with it will be DEMANDING nothing gets disrupted. They will be put in a headlock if their customer base gets fukked. Or if someone gets rolled out of chemo or kicked off their policy.

If I laid out a full plan and you were against it and had 7 years to come up with a better plan do you think that if you actually had any desire to come up with a better plan you could do it in that amount of years?

There is no replacement for Obamacare outside of single payer that is "better." Furthermore the Republicans really never cared about making American health care better. Obama basically took one of the ideas from their think tank and implemented it and Republicans rallied against it because Obama suggested it not because it was bad policy. Their anti-Obamacare crap was political propaganda aimed at attacking their political enemy. in fact when you strip Obama's name from the bill and lay out all the benefits of it it's overwhelmingly popular.

They've had long enough to plan out something "better" that if they actually ever wanted to do so it would be done by now. Even looking at all the ideas they float now all leave millions uninsured. This is a prime example of the chickens coming home to roost. Their propaganda was so effective that now they have a mess on their hands they can't clean up. They passed all those repeal bills because they knew Obama would veto them and as soon as the threat of the veto vanished people in their own party are propping up what they supposedly wanted to repeal.
