McCain did talk tho.nikkas happy because McCain didnt sell out his country when he was being tortured. If he talked, it wouldve put millions of Americans at risk.
This nikka just voted on a bill that will leave millions of americans at risk.
I ask you, how is this vote any different. Him being a "war hero" doesnt mean a damn thing. Getting killed at war wouldve saved millions of americans. fukk him, I dont feel bad.
When he dies, and hopefully it's soon, I'm gonna celebrate like Killer Mike did when Reagan died

Nothing even resembling the will of the people was carried out in the Senate today.
Senators voting to stop Trumpcare represent 36 million more people than the ones who didn’t
It must be nice to live in a democracy.

Right, those that voted no speak for more Americans. The popular vote / electoral vote issue...isnt it less people?

oh i see now
stupid ass wording
"voting to stop Trumpcare" = voting against repeal
stupid. they need to fix that
well there is no bill for starters. the ones floated kick 20-something million off their insurance by almost every estimate, premiums increase, no mandate. tax cut for the top 2%(?) of earners who currently get hit with ACA taxes. medicaid cuts for tax cuts in a nutshell.pardon me for my ignorance, but can someone clue me in on the issue with the healthcare reform Trump is passing?
Trump says it will "deliver grt healthcare to all americans"
But what's the catch to it? What's the difference between it and Obamacare? Pre-existing conditions?
So, from everything I have heard on this, but am not entitrely sure, McConnell's turtle ass can concede every amendment that he needs to concede to get the fukking republikunts on board to get the yes votes, and once he has the votes and it passes, he can tear up all the amendments and put any bill he wants through. Very shady and evil stuff. I am definitely not as informed as I should be, but anyway we look at this, it would seem, if he can get the votes, no matter what amendments they make, we are fukkedThis.
I'm confused about what victory has been claimed. The next steps are to debate which bill they want. This seems to only make the process more complicated fir the GOP.
That said I'm surprised it took this much effort to repeal but since this is being rushed so badly on something that makes up 1/6th of our economy then this does not look good.
all of which ultimately mean the end of the ACA
all of them.
skinny repeal is about removing mandates from individuals and employers which will create an actual death spiral.
insurers will flee. ACA will be dead for all intents and purposes. [medicaid expansion left in, that they can kill through budget functions]
full repeal= dead
repeal and replace -they have no fukking replace that doesnt also create an actual death spiral -dead
115th Congress defunds ACA: Senate: 51-48 House:227-198; Executive Order signed 1/20pardon me for my ignorance, but can someone clue me in on the issue with the healthcare reform Trump is passing?
