Only reason people are riding with Self made v2 is because of the beats/lyrics. Cruel summer is on a different level in terms of beat selections and lyrics

I'm not riding with either or, but both albums are pretty good.

so in other words, the two things that account for roughly 100% of the actual music on the albums...I guess I'd give Cruel Summer the nod for the more extravagant album packaging and larger stylist budgets for the promotional pictures

MMG is dope. Beats lyrics flows production quality... it's all there. But Cruel Summer is really innovative and nothing else sounds like it. Listening to Cruel Summer the whole way through is like slow roasted smoked pork and MMG is like drenching some shyt with your favorite sauce. I think time will be kind to Cruel Summer

Cruel summer is the biggest letdown this year, the replay value is very low, I prefer Self made 2, plus it has some good gym music too when a breh hitting them weights
