Now that the game has ramped up I can say that I think the core 1 on 1 gameplay is worse than Soulsborne. The enemy patterns are less choreographed which is good, but the emphasis on parrying enemies that can't be consistently parried and block at random is bad to me. If I hit you while you're off guard you shouldn't be able to just interrupt and suddenly start blocking and immediately counterattack, especially since I can't do that either.

They did this to offset the fact that there's no stamina meter, but I don't think the tradeoff is even. So in non open-world stealth situations where you need to fight straight up 1 on 1, the game is inconsistent and frustrating IMO. The upgrades make it better but you lose experience every death so you need to be on top of things just to get the upgrades you need to beat certain enemies like the shinobi hunter.

First Juzou the Drunkard and now Lady Butterfly are giving me that work. Didn't have too much trouble up until that point except for an encounter with a purple ninja where I had to fall the fukk back. Haven't encountered any technical issues on PC so far. Shyt runs smooth as hell, 60 fps:ehh:

Did you run away at all? I know I've tried the hit, run and let them de-aggro and hit again method and it doesn't work. Pretty sure they didn't want ppl to cheese the enemies that way, so they reset them if they de-aggro at all. If that's not what happened, I don't know what to say. Must've been a glitch or something.

Getting the first deathblow via stealth is definitely the move with them big dudes though. Makes the fight just a bit easier.

Nah I def stayed in the mix.

I activated dude in the back corner and we jumped that nikka

Played a bit on PC.

The increased vertical agility does make it feel different from souls, but the combat is exactly as familiar as I expected.

Gonna come back to this game after I finish off some the other games I’ve been playing:ehh:

Why is equipment locked? I wanna use the prosthetic arm and axe, somebody please help me before I smash my TV
When you first get the prosthetic arm, all you have is the grappling hook.
You need to find the other tools in the world and then bring them back to the sculptor to get them fitted.

Has anyone else had trouble trying to get. Play this on PC?

Im only getting like 20fps at the beginning and it tired turning everything down. I read that a lot of people have the same issue but when they're running a dual monitor setup.

I'm on a laptop but I got it hooked up to a monitor with the laptop closet sed. I meet the recommended specs and was able to play DS3 and played DMC5 on it.
