He was the head writer breh. Constanza is based on Larry David. He voiced George Steinbrenner and was on camera a couple times but nothing major

Yeah. NBC came to Jerry and said they wanted to do a show about him. He reached out to Larry, his friend, and the two of them came up with the idea and concept and he was the head writer for 7 of the 9 seasons it was on. He came back to write the series finale. If you watch Curb and Seinfeld, you can see the similarities breh. And the entire season 4 arc of Seinfeld is based on how Seinfeld became a show with George playing Larry's role
