The George character was based on Larry David so Curb is basically Seinfeld but George as the main character.

the problem with curb is that it's 100% all on one character. every scene is about larry.

seinfeld wouldn't have been the same if it were just about george. he always always had someone equally as funny to play off of.

nothing in curb can compete with those scenes of jerry and george dissecting the minutia of everyday life and working together to reach a solution.
