this interlocking of corporate leadership at the management and shareholder level has been one of the major catalysts for the greed and corruption currently crippling the american government. politicians move seamlessly back and forth between public and private, influencing public policy and collaborating with the highest bidders from the private sector creating a virtual fascist government. this system literally manipulates people while transferring wealth upwards. just look at the records, wealth has been consolidating since forever.
you go high enough in these corporate chains and you see the power consolidate. there are only 5-10 heavyweights in any one industry, but those 5-10 heavyweights have dozens if not hundreds of subsidiaries.
