See, this is one type of view that kinda bothers me. Just because you're weary of big corporations or the government, rightfully so, doesn't mean you do a 180 degree turn and start listening to and believing people like Alex.
(Alternative Media isn't just Alex Jones though he's the most popular, there's tons of Alternative Media online and in blogs. The point is a majority of people are fed their information from Mainstream media sources which have been proven to be bias with agendas)
Alex does not "be dropping knowledge" - LoL - as you say; rather, he distorts shyt to fit his agenda of promoting fear to a select audience - close to the same shyt religion does. It just so happens to, majority of the time, appeal to a different set of people, but still with the same tactics.
(You say he doesn't Drop Knowledge as if he's never been proven Right. Alex has been proven right on many different things but again you have to research his points. He's also been proven wrong but the difference is Mainstream Media will lie to you and never tell you they were wrong. Alex has admitted on some cases he got the facts wrong)
Alex probably isn't a nutcase, because he's probably just maximizing his profits with this gimmick, but that doesn't mean his "on-air" beliefs and majority of his listeners aren't "off". If you want factual information, then you have to get it from multiple sources, and you - as an individual - have to take the time out to fact check things yourself. I honestly wish the passion of conspiracy theorists wasn't so misguided, because it could truly be used for good purposes in other areas. (This I agree with as I get my information from multiple sources)
