Alex has been spreading this story about this fukking "MILITARY DRONE" he supposedly seen flying over the SXSW festival in Austin

so i went to check out his article and one commentator cleared everything up:

That so-called “drone” was a camera my friend was using to shoot his music video. The reporter talked to the director afterwards and knew that’s what it was for. I was a big infowars fan until this article…now I realize you guys just put anything out that you can to push your agenda…just like the mainstream media. I’m starting to see that you guys operate by a campaign of terror just as much as the government and mainstream media smh. It really sucks that I witnessed this personally bc I do believe in a good amount of conspiracies…but I can no longer use infowars as proof for my arguments knowing you guys knowingly push bullshyt to further ur agenda. Shame on you! :ahh:

So you were rolling with Alex Jones all these years until he got this story wrong?

Sounds shaky.

The person might've been at times skeptical of some of the stories on Infowars but still believed in whatever the website published, like most of their subscribers do, this may have been simply the straw that broke the camel's back.

:stopitslime: that was the COMMENTATOR...

I NEVER FUKKED WITH ALEX JONES to begin with..always found him to be a sensational conspiracy version of TMZ....just a damn media whore

i got friends like my old college pal who pisses me off, because he acts as if ALEX JONES is like DAN RATHER or something....i never found him credible...and if he does have a decent story he fukks it up by putting his own inforwars paranoia induced spin on it...

it just begs the question of what the purpose of a "military drone" above the SXSW festival would be

while i think alex jones is a nutcase...anonymous comments on the internet usually don't have much credibility

why didn't that guy just contact the website himself to clear it up? I mean if the allegation is true that he told them what it was beforehand and they went weekly world news on it then i'm not really surprised

alex jones seems like an old school carnival owner who cheats everyone around him with illusions

:pachaha:......................................................:aicmon:

First of all...the article just says a drone.....that's it...doesn't specify whose running it....so why :why: is the OP/person upset...its just an observation...:damn:......... almost hilarious...

.....I mean how is person supposed to know what it is or whose running it????
..when the tech is just making its way "mainstream" wise into American society, whether its civilian, private industry, government, or any other entity........it wouldn't be that far fetched/unreasonable to guess who's maneuvering it........did it have a sign that said... "hey, just a cool video director, making a video with my drone, keep doing what your doing guys and gals"..... :wtb:

EVERYDAY there is an article talking about this technology, another angle....I could post a new article everyday in ... http://www.the-coli.com/higher-learning/86646-american-drone-strike-policy-discussion-8.html thread
... the article below talks about the anticipated growth industry from these things......its a trip.....

Surprise! Drone Industry Report Says Drones are Great for the U.S. Economy
Activist Post

The robotic warfare arms race has gone global, with unmanned aerial vehicles taking center stage. A new U.S. study by the Association For Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) shows why drone proliferation continues to ramp up at a nearly exponential rate: it has become one of the fastest growing areas of the U.S. economy. A report entitled, "The Economic Impact of Unmanned Aircraft Systems Integration in the United States" is clear in its conclusion that competition for jobs and tax dollars created by drone tech development is likely to provide the impetus to loosen state regulations on drone use. The AUVSI is projecting 70,000 new jobs in the first three years of full integration.
Naturally, as noted by Cenk Uygar in the video below, the AUVSI has a vested interest in promoting drone use despite the organization's "non-profit" status. From their About Us page they don't hide their goals and connections:

The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International is the world's largest non-profit organization devoted exclusively to advancing the unmanned systems and robotics community. Serving more than 7,500 members from government organizations, industry and academia, AUVSI is committed to fostering, developing, and promoting unmanned systems and robotic technologies. AUVSI members support defense, civil and commercial sectors. (Read full mission statement and their goals for the world HERE
