Just yesterday one of the instructors at my gym saw me doin squats and told me I'm doin it wrong cuz I was going ATG. nikka tried to show me how it's done, and then went a few inches down just slightly bending his knees and told me that's the way you do squats :wtf: I could tell the weight was a lil too much for the nikka even tho he's bigger than me and I'm not even an advanced lifter yet

I hate this world :to:

Back when I was working a corporate job, that was the one thing I hated. Unfit people trying to talk fitness, diet etc..all while I was in their presence.

I'm getting another corporate job soon though, I have a feeling this time I will be better equipped at letting that go over my head and not caring...because it seriously used to drive me crazy.

I remember a month where I was going through a phase in my wardrobe and weeding out my more loose fitting shirts.. I recall something like this at work:

Me in a loose shirt, coworker comment: "oh you stopped working out, hey man..you used to look pretty big"

Me in a fitted shirt, coworker comment: "oh you started working out again, you get big so quickly"

next week me in a loose shirt, coworker comment: "oh you stopped working out again"

next day, me in a fitted shirt, coworker comment "oh wow, when you workout you grow too quickly, are you on steroids"

My advice is to just not let it even get to you, they don't know any better. Would a dentist waste his time getting irate over people talking about teeth, or how to maintain teeth? He/she would just let them be. That's how you have to be.

god damn how big are your shirts :skip:

Those bigger shirts were not that big, I just have a very small/narrow bone structure, so clothing size has that visual effect on me more so than your regular dude that works-out.

Even slim-fit dress shirts do me no justice, it's fine on the upper body/shoulder chest area.. the waist is too small though. I can fill out most shirts at the top regardless, it's the waist which has too much material and just takes away from the look. I have to get slim fit shirts tailored at the waist area.........

Time to just go custom for everything lol

I have a co-worker who's been taking classes to be a health coach and trying to start her own business. While that's pretty admirable, she's obese. Not fat. OBESE! Last week, she started handing out business cards where some of her services include "Health Coaching" and "Weight Management" :heh:

I went to her website and found it interesting that there are no pictures of her, but there are pictures of women who look fit. I'd link it, but I'm not that mean. If someone were to go meet her for a consultation without knowing what she looked like, they'd be in for a rude awakening

Become that mean. We won't judge you... :scheme:

That brings up good point though. There are a lot of :flabbynsick:-looking trainers/gym employees where I'm from. Am I the only one that finds it a bit weird when someone's trying to sell you a membership and they don't at least look "healthy"? I felt the same way when I worked for GNC and there were heavy-set employees at other stores.

Back to the topic, it really kills me when :flabbynsick: people try to critique supplements on some "Do you really know what you're putting in your body?" shyt. :comeon:

You want to go... "Look at you." :mjpls:
