Season 2 of the Wire is underrated as f*ck. (Spoilers)

I'm on season 4 right now and I kept hearing how the second season is the weakest. I know we had just got used to the Barksdale crew and everything but imo the docks was needed. It was nice to show how the whitebois wasn't above us and they did dirt just like the blacks do. It was also important to the plot...Stringer started getting work from Prop Joe, who got it straight off the boat from the Europeans.

I didn't think it was boring at all and it's fukked up what happened to Nicky and Frank, almost brought tears to my eyes

The final season is the weakest. Season 1-4 are basically perfect, with 4 being the best.

S5 is definitely the weakest but it's still very good imo. I had a friend tell me that the show didn't really get interesting until S3, but he also like the Sopranos finale so

One of my favorite seasons. I like how they showed how the greek did business and how unlike those street crews, they was always one step ahead. Prop Joe learned from them as he never got caught up by the police.

Funny how after Season 2 they NEVER tried to go after the greek again.

When Season 2 initially aired, I skipped over a bunch of it like a lot of other people because it wasn't like the first season. Recently I went back and binged watched it, and not only realized how brilliant it is but how important it is to the rest of the story. I would recommend going back and really watching the entire season. I think most true fans of the show will eventually go back, sit down and watch it.

I liked Season 2 since jump. Recently rwatched it and even Ziggy seems a little more likable. First time I thought he was a complete retard, now I understand why he chose to be a complete retard.

Season 3 was always my favorite but starting to think that Season 4 is by far the best. I'm only on episode 5 but it is amazing
