He said a version of that verse on the Barrel Bros. album (Skyzoo and Torae). It was in response to Ebro shytting on him when fans were complaining about Hot 97 not supporting NY artists and homegrown talent like Sean P. Buckshot later went on Ebro's show to discuss independent hip-hop and the industry being dismissive of underground labels, etc. and Ebro was still being a condescending d*ckhead to Buck. The nerve of that f*ggot to treat a legend who has over 30yrs of industry experience like that. :hhh:

Funny thing is there is this Ebro interview with Method Man years later where Meth actually credited Sean Price for putting the battery in Meth's back and convincing him to go hard on his Meth Lab projects and mixtapes he was releasing and Ebro was pretending to act like he knew all about P's discography and impact on the game. :mjlol:

Just goes to show how truly out of touch these media figures are when it comes to what the artists themselves wanna hear and what they actually respect.
