I get it :yeshrug:

Turned around the Rams

Got a ring

A reputation as an offensive mastermind

Great coaching tree

Got a bag

Could probably make the HOF as a head coach (high win pct%, no losing seasons, made multiple super Bowls, a ring, made a super bowl with Jared Goff with help from the refs)

And can get a bigger bag as a TV personality without the stress and grind of a head coach
fixed

Sounds like heaven to me.

He‘s young and wealthy with a Super Bowl - not even 40. Can make easy money as a commentator and spend time with his family.

Yup I remember for years people thought bill cowher would go back into coaching or tony dungy. Dungy left at 53 and never looked back. Cowher at 49 never looked back.

Once you are getting paid millions and only have to show up for like two days a week to hang out with the guys and watch football, without all that added stress long days etc.

Not shocked.

NFL needed LA to get that ring. McVay did his part as did Donald, Stafford, Ramsey etc.

He's a young dude with millions, married....he's not the type that's gonna coach into his 60s like Reid, Belichick, Carroll and Saban. He wants to enjoy his money and ain't tryna be apart of a rebuild. You need a Bill Parcells type coach for that.

Plus he doesn't wanna end up losing half to wifey. She looks like she can find a good attorney. Long hours at work fukk up a marriage.

Sean is definitely going to do TV. Just a matter of when.

He's been coaching since he was on Gruden's staff in Tampa Bay.

Good thing for him is that his girl been with him since he was in DC. He got with her while she was still at George Mason.

Unlike Tom, I'd be going home and retiring earlier for this one too :datazz:

Sean McVay is almost certainly leaving this train wreck of a team.
Yep
I think they tear it all down at the end of this year
They sold their soul for a ring and succeeded and are now paying the price :yeshrug:
It was worth it imo
Time to rebuild. Will always be a popular FA spot cause of being in LA and I'm sure they can swing some value out of someone like Ramsey and/or Kupp in a trade

I wonder if Stafford retires though. He strikes me as the type to keep going till the wheels fall off completely. He stuck through all that bs in Detroit this season probably feels more normal to him than winning a ring :russ:

honestly hes super lucky this story broke before this season started

he would have looked like the ultimate front runner if he dipped without any warning after this season
