If you have 50 million, you really don't need to risk going broke trying to double up... Live off the 50 million and be happy :manny:

Greedy people man. I have no sympathy.

This dude had Rhode Island & Delaware fighting over giving him that loan too. :comeon:

I'm not gonna say "good for him" because I don't wish this kinda stuff on anyone, but he's one of the athletes I hate the most...so whatever.

dont understand the need to invest for these athletes

the interest accrued in the most basic account alone could be staggering, why risk losing anything? im sure they get bored and want to continue to 'compete' in something, put a small stake in a minor league team or some shyt. dumb

Dumbass should've invested in a videogame company and had them make the game with his supervision and input.

Report: Bank sues Schilling for $2.3 million

According to a report in the Boston Globe, RBS Citizens has sued Curt Schilling in an attempt to recover the $2.4 million it made in loans to 38 Studios, Schilling's video game company which filed for bankruptcy last week.

The Providence-based RBS Citizens -- better known as Citizens Bank -- claims Schilling personally guaranteed to pay the $2.4 million debt last October but has since refused to do so.

38 Studios established a $2.06 million line of credit with RBS Citizens in October 2010 and had a business credit card account with a balance of $375,596 as of June 7, according to the Globe report. In addition to bringing legal action against Schilling, RBS Citizens also sued Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, where Schilling reportedly holds financial accounts.

NO way this a$$hole put 50 million of his own money in that company, he's just saying that so he doesn't seem like as much of a jerk, he's probably talking about losing 50 million of equity or some other bullshyt that only existed on paper.
