No he's not a mastermind but he does have people around him who are smart enough to do what is necessary for him to achieve his goals, with their own goals as the benefit to aiding him

It's ok...we'll all just blame "the dems" and "liberals" down the line anyways

Just pointing it out ahead of time
True. But if he couldn’t accomplish it when he had the power of the presidency it would take a miracle as a private citizen.

Upstate hates Supreme Leader Cuomo but once again he'll be saved by the downsize population vote.

Its bullshyt that he can run for a 4th term. State constitution needs to be changed.
He literally doesn't do shyt for upstate but put hundreds of billions into the subway system so it makes sense :ehh:

Yea he definitely pissed someone off. I thought it was maybe he wasn’t useful since trump is gone and we can stop pretending like Cuomo isn’t a neoliberal pos but this is something else now

Unfortunately that's not possible.

In any other presidency, that would probably be the case. Not this time around though.

And no one is obsessed with Trump, this is just the reality of the country right now unless the universe gets off its ass and gives him the heart attack or terminal cancer he rightfully deserves

We were almost free with the Rona but....money and power can sometimes get you out of a pinch
Trump is finished.

He will be a pariah from here on out.

The thing is he is the ULTIMATE Confidence Man but it’s all over for him politically.

All he is doin is running his mouf keeping the spector of possibility open that he might run again in the minds of the marks as well as the GOP. He probably is sending emails to the marks for donations. He’s never running again

Not a bad take at all
:usure:

His administration diverted M.T.A. funding to ski resorts
Mr. Cuomo’s administration forced the M.T.A. to send $5 million to bail out three state-run ski resorts that were struggling, a decision that was first reported by The New York Daily News.

The bailout was part of a trend in which the state made the transit agency help other entities, including sending $5 million to the Triborough Bridge and Tunnel Authority to cover the cost of reducing tolls in 2013, according to The Times investigation.
:ohlawd:
He made the M.T.A. pay obscure fees
Mr. Cuomo continued the practice of forcing the M.T.A. to pay the state for something known as bond issuance fees, which essentially pay for financial advice on borrowing.

The M.T.A., which has multiple bond experts, had to pay $328 million in bond issuance fees over the past 15 years. After The Times raised questions over the fees, state officials said they would no longer impose bond issuance fees on the M.T.A.
:ohhh:

He prioritized showy projects over maintenance
Mr. Cuomo has focused on attention-grabbing projects like the Second Avenue line on the Upper East Side of Manhattan — which, so far, comprises three new stations — instead of on routine repairs to the subway’s infrastructure. It was the failure to keep the tracks and trains properly maintained that led to the subway’s crisis, according to an investigation last year by The New York Times.

Mr. Cuomo, for example, pushed the M.T.A. to spend nearly $1 billion on enhanced lighting and signs and other upgrades to stations that did not improve train service. He also pressured the authority to study outfitting M.T.A. bridges with lights capable of choreographed display.
LED lights:wow:

He forced the M.T.A. to take on more debt
Since Mr. Cuomo took office in 2011, the M.T.A.’s debt has risen to more than $38 billion from about $32 billion. The debt, transit groups note, is higher than the national debt of several countries, including Iceland and Panama.

new report by the state comptroller.
:jbhmm:

He did not try to turn things around sooner
Many of the subway’s problems were well known before service reached a crisis point last year. Yet Mr. Cuomo was slow to act.

When the state won billions of dollars from large settlements with banks after the 2008 financial crisis, Mr. Cuomo chose not to spend a major slice of the money on mass transit. He also brushed aside the findings of the M.T.A. Transportation Reinvention Commission, a 2014 panel of transit leaders Mr. Cuomo convened from around the world, which warned of growing concerns about maintenance.

Now being told by MTA Commission in 2014 that maintenance is necessary, not doing anything about it, and then when shyt hit the fan blaming De Blasio by lying that the mayor is in charge of MTA and it has nothing to do with the governor, would usually be my favorite thing he's done for MTA. Because it has all the classic GOP dirtbag moves in there, no different at all from Texas GOP blaming Green New Deal for their power issues or Trump blaming Obama for his own pandemic response. But wasting a billion on LED lights is just too good :wow:

Great take by you :ehh:

If you can pinpoint me to the type of investment throughout the entirety of the state of New York that competes with the 2.1+ billion per square mile of the subway renovations I'll agree with you that he should be liked by constitutes outside of the city.

Dude is 80 years old and pure evil let folks tell it. Yet he and his family seem to be thriving just fine. There is no true justice in the world. You have to create it.
