Its only six over like 30 years
For horror movie franchises I think Scream and The Evil Dead franchise. Been consistently good compared to their contemporaries.

last one I recall was the girl from Heroes
from there I said "i'm out"
I’d like to see a kickass chase sequence in this one, with whoever under the Ghostface mask clumsily tripping over furniture and shyt like old times. The last two flicks lacked that.
I guess you could say the closest one in the newer flicks was with Gale, but even then, the scale of her getting chased around in her apartment pales in comparison to Stu’s crib or the sorority house in Scream 2. IMO.

its the little things like when gf takes a hack at the victims and misses and ends up falling over or flipping.
6’s Ghostface was definitely more brutal.
