This. I didn't think Michael Cera was the guy to play Scott Pilgrim.

Finally saw this movie last night...really enjoyed it. The visuals, the comedy, the randomness, the music. This joint was really well-made.

That opening scene with the music & all is sick. That one and the fight with the twins are probably my favorite scenes. All of the fights were cool though. The bass battle was real nice too.

I downloaded Hot Fuzz & Shaun of the Dead. Never seen those either, but always heard good things.

If you loved SP, you should love Hot Fuzz and Shaun. Shaun of the Dead is a top 5 movie all time to me.

The problem is that the Scott in the other media wasn't a complete loser like Cera. Dude has some of the features but who else to play that role? A dope loser?

I don't think he'd be any "cooler" than Cera tho. Plus this was 2010 which was like 1 or 2 years before Eisenberg's debut.

I would've probably teared up a bit if the movie was done in a way where Scott was actually giving off indications that he wanted to be with Knives. They went in a completely different way than they wanted to, it seems
