I am certain its because Scott wanted to make Dr. Strange 2 a horror flick...Feige seemed kinda uncomfortable calling it a horror film, he said there are scary parts but its not a horror film...I am willing to bet thats the issue

Also, Poltergeist is PG or PG13. Jaws is PG. The Ring is also PG13. A lot of dope horror flicks have a PG or PG13 label so that's not a hindrance. The last time Kevin spoke on it, he seemed to be cool embracing the horror element of it and calling it that. And this was Scott's pitch and he knows how to make a PG13 horror movie. Exorcism of Emily Rose is his flick and that's also PG13, so I wouldn't jump the gun on calling anyone p*ssy or the reasoning as to why he's no longer directing the project
