I think like everything it is a collapsing wave function. Things tilted too far one way and now with mostly the help of HBO, A24 & Blumhouse they’ve revived auteur film making—managed to win best picture with everything everywhere all at once, something that you would never imagine being (made) or nominated in the late 90s early 2000s. Marvel/Disney is now suffering for the faults of their mistakes and the pendulum is just shifting back again.
