Those dishes in OP are realistic options. Sad state of affairs in America when people find it difficult to believe other countries serve healthy school lunches that are freshly made from scratch and not processed junk. Beef? Shrimp? Fresh Fish? No way??!!!

Most countries care about their kids' well-being even if it costs extra money. Strange concept I know

This has to be what someone believes is a school lunch based on the country listed. Plus all of the food is from the same place (look at the table). Should of actually show the food that the kids actually eat rather then an artist rendition.

Came in to say the same thing. Also the portions are at least double what you would actually receive. There is no way in hell a 7 year old is eating that much food in one sitting.

There is no doubt that the other countries have better and fresher food but don’t fake the funk. Show what they are actually receiving.

That would make a relatively short article prohitively expensive to produce. Traveling around the world just to get a pic of each lunch tray.

It wasn’t like that back when we were roaming the halls lol not at all.


I was apart of the class/era that introduced French fries and burgers at lunch (05-07) then they added chicken fingers then they said no we need to bake this food not fry it so by time we got to highschool if you didn’t have money you were picking from school pizza or chicken rings.

They used to do wraps but US the black kids we never had wraps lol we saw spinach wraps and turned heads.

It depends on the school but typically US school lunches are worst. Heres some different videos about school lunches. Basically the good places make more stuff from scratch.
