I can understand parents being concerned with what their children are being taught, and they should have an active role. But I also know a lot of what we are seeing is straight up bigotry, and it will not end with not mentioning anything LGTBQ. This doesn't have jack shyt to do with kids, but those with their fascist agendas don't mind hijacking parental concerns to push their goals. And we've seen the effects of their strategies. Just look at Jan 6th. For how many years has the left said, "You know, all of that angry and hostile rhetoric from the right is going to blow up in our faces. You are playing with fire." Only to be told, "Oh you guys are too PC. We would never do that. You don't care about the kids. It's just colorful language. You're making something out of nothing."
Have your concerns, but don't fall for their bullshyt.

Plus I know parents who got angry and their school for introducing a book about a girl that wanted to be a boy, and those parents don't know anything about politics, just folks that mind their own business in life and have zero presence or knowledge of american politics.

Also look at the below, only 7% of americans identity as LGBTQ, so why is there SO MUCHHHHH focus on increasing knowledge about a group that represents only 7% of the population?????????
