Yoooo, I remember certain assignments we were allowed to grade ourselves. I used to cop the pens with 4 colors from there (red, black, blue, green), and would front when we supposed to be grading. Changing my answers & shyt as she’s going through answers since the teacher wouldn’t know what ink or pen I was using.

In fourth grade I was doing that shyt heavy.

I used to hustle for Goosebumps and Animorphs. It got pretty bad.

That middle of the year come up :myman:

I would order a few books through the catalog and spend the rest of my cash on supplies to hustle later in the year for a crazy fukking markup
:mjlit:

By 5th grade I had it figured out

Oh you need some lead for that mechanical pencil :mjpls:

How bout an eraser for the test on the Scantron next week:mjlit:

This is awkward. Scholastics is the entire reason why black independent books, comics, and children's books do not make it to these schools. They have a foothold and their books never sell. In fact, I literally do bookfairs at these schools and the kids never buy their PC bullshyt books.

"I love my hair"

Soft ass "representation books."

This is extremely interesting seeing Scholastics on the Coli being praised.
