I could pretty much pick any scene from this film, too many classics, but this is probably the most famous, and the most thematically important. I like to think that Joker made it out alive....

Another Kubrick joint. I still remember the first time I watched this movie, it was on a Christmas Eve. Knew it was a classic but I tend to place it extremely high in my top all time movies lists. If sociopaths had a theme song, this song would be it.

Gladiator - My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius....


I tend to think that Gladiator is amongst the best examples of that old school mix of fantastical Hollywood storytelling with *just* the right amount of human drama added in to not make things too campy.

The Matrix - The Matrix is a system Neo....that system is our enemy.


The Matrix has THE best exposition scenes EVER filmed. Pretty confusing concepts for a blockbuster film like this...but they explained this world perfectly. Took their time with it. We never knew more than Neo did and learned everything together. They didn't just tell, they SHOWED. Perfect. This has always been my personal favorite scene from the movie.

Could go on forever. Most of my favorite movies tend to have at least one unforgettable scene.
