First off, this thread isn't only about sad scenes so don't come all cliche talmbout Mufasa dying and shyt lol...Some movies have scenes that only hit you the first time you watch, but have no effect on you afterward (example: the black girl dying in Hunger Games or Keyser Soze's diddybop)

but what are those scenes that were so impactful or just so well acted that no matter how many times you watch a film, you still react the same way you did during your first viewing? Some of my favorites:

Combo beating the shyt out of Milky in This is England. He really demolished my man. No matter how many times I watch the film, I tense up when that scene comes up.. I always try to watch this movie with people so I can watch their reaction to it. Always the same :patrice:

The whipping scene from "The Proposition".. Again, same reaction as before. I tense up like a muug. They whooped that boy ass... shyt was foul. The singing made this scene so fukkin hard tho! One of the best scenes from an underrated ass film.

The end of Trainspotting when Renton is dipping with the cash and running down all the shyt he finna do with his life :blessed::blessed:

the final scene of "Michael Clayton" when George Clooney sons the fukk outta Tilda Swinton, hops in the whip and dips. The way the credits start rolling was some of the best directing ever. shyt be having me felling triumphant as fukk like :wow:

Yes, it is a bit heavy handed, but it gets the point across, and is a good movie.

:wow:

The pacing. The acting. The music. The Kyle Reese reference. Sarah's inner turmoil at that moment.

It's all just :wow:

the last scene in Buffalo 66, when he visits the donut shop. he's happy for the 1st time in the movie & is no longer bent on revenge/the past

in Pulp Fiction when travolta & uma thurman talk in the diner, i love that whole conversation (uncomfortable silences). also everytime he goes to the bathroom in the movie & comes back out, some fukked up shyt happens :russ:

pacino's speech at the end of Scent Of A Woman. "i'd take a flamethrower to this place"

Malcolm X- transformation scene in prison

Mishima- transformation when he discovers bodybuilding (if the main character wasn't gay, this movie would be appreciated more. he's actually very bad ass)

Defending Your Life- the scene where the guy talks about fear & people not using their full potential

i got a bunch of scenes bookmarked on my tablet
