This beat is amazing. the old sample been flipped on plenty classics before, but still sounds amazing every time and maybe even kinda adds to the throwback feel. Fatlip barely sounds like himself on here, honestly thought it was an uncredited guest until a couple lines into the verse mentioning his old Pharcyde bandmates made it clear. But also those lines bout him not seeing them and nobody checking in feels outdated now that the reunion has been announced and photos released of them kicking it. Definitely feels like the type of song that Krayzie is infinitely more at home on, and a sound that Fatlip is not quite suited for, but making him stretch from what he's used to may be good for him as long as its amazing production like this. Just kinda shows his flaws compared to how comfortable Krayzie sounds on this.

Fatlip will def sound way more at home on the dustier warm melodic boombap type beats that will better accentuate the wear and tear that life has put in his voice.

this one of the better songs I heard from Krayzie recently, would have been great as a Bone song.
