Honestly most ppl that get killed over debt did so bc they had too much pride. Ppl in the business of lending money or drugs would rather get their money back than have to kill a customer.

I remember watching some of the YT channel that covered the trial of those New Orleans cats who were out there murdering mfs willy nilly. Two of the most murderous from the crew were talking to someone that kept shorting them (pride). They went to him basically telling him to stop fukking around or they were going to kill him. They literally accepted the losses a cpl times. I mean these dudes were straight up murderous psycopaths but even they were willing to work with him
