Scarface - Deeply Rooted
HHDX review ^^^ Pretty garbage review, but not surprising coming from HHDX, but I'd probably give it a 4/5 as well. They disliked the two hardest songs smh...

I'm curious to see other reviews for this album. Also want to see how many albums he sold, got a feeling it will be a good number for Face.

If you ask 100 people on here what Face's classics are, most will say The Diary and The Fix. The Fix got 5 mics from The Source.

So did La Bella Mafia by Lil Kim. The Fix was a good album but not 5 mics. I remember the backlash on other sites back in the day because it go that coveted rating.

Yeah I've been listening to this almost non-stop since I copped it on Friday. Face is a legend, no one can argue with that. Pretty amazing he has been doing this for more than 25 years.

I'm actually really fukking with this album

Steer and voices are pretty much unlistenable to me but other than those I can listen to this front to back not to mention these beats bang!!

So far I'm giving it 3.5/5

Really like the album. Couple of joints are skippable ("Voices" in particular), but overall, its very solid. 4 out of 5 Stars.

Pretty good album from face. I actually think this is his weakest album. Beats are nice but I am not crazy about most of the hooks on the songs.

I was expecting more after the dopeman music CD (which I feel was much better than this CD). Wish Brandon James and Monk Kaza could have been on this CD. Dudes have hella lyrics.

All in all I can't complain at this time when legends are dropping like flies and we stuck with clowns like Asap Rocky and Young Thug. Just glad face is around to be still making CDs (puts shyt in perspective after the passing of Sean Price).

Anyway here's to face, Willie D and Bushwick making a new geto boys CD.

Also lets not forget Mr. Scarface is back is up there with the fix and Diary.
