Man everybody wanted this game to get flexed but looking at the games Fox has i see why they didnt. Fox got pure doodoo on the screen besides this game
Looks like imma have to find a good stream.
The best matchup is all upfront. Is SF dline gonna be able to stop the run and also contain Lamar. Their line is nasty but they're aggressive so they have to make sure they wont lose contain. Wonder if he can grease his way thru some lanes.
Jimmy g has to take care of the rock. Bmo will capitalize on all those almost picks he throws.
It's gonna be a slobberknocker.
Niners defensive line has unbelievable burst. The Ravens haven't played anyone like that yet, and I want to see how they adjust to that. Back when the Ravens played Seattle, the Hawks line wasn't where it is now, but that would be the closest comp if they were...
If you're SF, you have the personnel in the secondary to mute Baltimore's receivers, so this game on the defensive side will be won by the 9ers linebackers ability to contain Lamar in space and that medium passing game. Baltimore's real threat is rushing the ball, and they only really burn teams deep because of how prolific they run the ball, but SF's secondary is better than Baltimore's receiver corps, so 9ers front 7 has to win the game...
Jimmy G also has to play well, and he struggled with a Seattle defensive backfield that, while they are rounding into form, they aren't as good as the Ravens. Humphrey, Thomas, Smith, Peters---->Jimmy G is gonna have to make some big time throws to win this game, and I'm not positive he will. I think he
can, but it's not about him playing a perfect game; not gonna happen. Can he make the throws in tight windows versus this secondary? Can he deliver the ball more accurately under pressure? When there isn't pressure, can he make them in clutch moments?
There were moments late in that Seattle game where he had a little more time and he threw some bad passes, looked afraid. If the 9ers lose its gonna be because Jimmy let's them down....
I don't have a rooting interest here, but I want to see a great game. Ideally 9ers lose because I want them to fall back close enough to Seattle for the Hawks to take the division. There's too much separation between Baltimore and Houston/KC, but I'll also say this. The Ravens can be had on defense. They don't have a great front seven. They are above average but the Cleveland Browns ran that muhfukka right at and right through them, over 200 yards rushing. Baltimore's strength is in the defensive backfield, if SF can impose its will running the ball and keep the game so much outta Jimmy's hands, and contain Baltimore's rushing, they'll win....
If it comes down to Jimmy having to deliver strikes with the game on the line, fellas I gotta see him do it against elite competition to believe it...
