Curious to know which execs are being laid off as part of the reorg.

Glad to see they’re restructuring NBA leadership. Hopefully that comes with big changes. Maybe someone from TNT?

And a position specifically for Super Bowl even though it’s a couple years away and 4 years after that? Interesting…wonder how that works.

In a lot of those talents defense, it’s kind of hard to do that when gigs are going to the same people who are already exposed.

It’s why I don’t blame people like Russini who realized it and dipped out.

Exactly right.

Look at it like this: Laura Rutledge has been a big part of NFL Live turning itself around after having been trash for the longest. The audience likes her, the cast on her show likes her, she's a familiar face to the NFL audience, and does a pretty good job. And it seems like she wasn't seriously being considered to get the Sunday or Monday Countdown jobs. That's insane.

As much as I can't stand him, a lot of talent would be better off trying to follow the Pat McAfee path of starting there, leaving and building their own audience, and then coming back once they've created more demand for themselves.

I was going to say some of these people should go to nfl network but come to find out they done fired almost everyone and just run nfl preseason and old nfl games 20 hours a day :mjlol:

Was wondering why none of the shows were on at 1 or 2 when i go downstairs to eat something :mjlol:

Breh, the gutting of NFL Network has been crazy, and I can't believe it's flown relatively under the radar. They're like the sports equivalent of MTV. A handful of hours of actual programming, and then blatant filler at all other times. :mjlol:

Just saw that they canceled Around the NFL. That's crazy to me. I haven't listened since the Chargers left San Diego but it was a successful shoe.

I thought I was tripping when I saw MJ Acosta working as an anchor on Sportscenter. She's still working with NFLN, but she probably know the writing on the wall and is being proactive.
