This has become real life in any form of entertainment. Social media presence is the reason Ryan Garcia had the biggest fight of the year. Jake Paul ain’t in that category but social media is why he’s making bread of boxings. Social media has become king in this era. It’s the same with real estate agents and photographers too.
I def get culling dudes who ain’t with figuring that part out, but I don’t think we’re at a point where ESPN has that many worthwhile personas that ALSO have online presence. I’d contend The Ringer is at least comparable to them in employees that fit that mold, and they don’t even have that many (and they’re mainly white and annoying).

ESPN needs to modernize in ways other than just throw money at giants with big brands. fukk “King” Garcia and his excuse making ass too lmao
