Reminds me of exactly what Bomani said years ago on the Evening Jones: Just because ESPN is offering you a new contract, doesn’t mean that it’s for more bread.

Even Nolan mentioned having to take a paycut to stay, so it seems that it's been happening for a long while now. Guess this their way of getting rid of people without having to lay them off. Offer them a deal that you know they won't accept. Smart actually.

That's just speaking in a simple way for ESPN only.. basically the stock gained $70 bucks based on the forecast and things opening back up...Disney owns 14-15 other companies that they were effected as well..hell making movies/ theaters/ parks/cruises was in the negative these last 14 months...so yeah they will look to trim until things get back rollin
