i think it's a given that they're grooming Katie Nolan to take over SportsNation (or whatever it could become), since Michelle Beadle is moving back to NY to do that morning show with Greenberg, Jalen Rose, etc.

Agree completely they need to show wrasslin again during the afternoon. Sports center and 365 days of NFL Live need to get the fukk out. Would be pretty shytty to can folks during holiday season hopefully this is fake news as far as gutting layoffs.

They can't afford anything new. They only show 3-4 hours of live sports on a weekday. So they have to produce 20-21 hours of original programming a day since they've gone true 24 hours viewing cycle. That's expensive af and with the broadcast rights being so expensive they can't afford any programming except 2-4 people in a studio to talk about what's going on. It's why the network is so trash and useless. It's 21 hours of the same exact show. They have 0 original innovative programming besides 30 for 30 which is costly and not an everyday thing.
They could do different types of programming they could easily have a Last Chance u type show, or scripted television like a GLOW or a Ballers type to fill those slots but they don't have the funds to do so.
They waited too long to switch their plan up. They should have been producing their own shows 10 years ago but they failed to see where things are truly going and don't have money to do so anymore. They can't gamble anymore.
