I fukks with fat elephant cac now...:chattyguurrrlll:...for no other reason than when he said if it came down to Durant and Paul George for his all nba team even though Durant is better he was going to go with Paul cause he didn't want to cost that man 70 million...then he was like "i sure don't want to be eligible for some sort of bonus at ESPN and not get it cause some people who cover ESPN say i shouldn't get it"
Damn, so reporters were offering to work for free and ESPN was still like naaaaa.

"Music video programming" wasn't just playing music videos
It was interviews with artists, music news, fashion, etc. . .
Just think about all the great moments on Yo MTV RAps!
Fab Five Freddie on the back of a pick up truck with NWA in Compton and them showing him around. That was the first time I ever saw anything about the West Coast on TV as a shorty.
Think about the time that Ghostface was gonna fukk Joe Clair up on Rap City
Or when 2pac talked about beating the Hughes Bros. asses on TV.
That's the type of shyt you get when you have "music video programming".
Plus, you get world premiers. There's a difference between watching something on YouTube and simultaneously watching the world premier of the new Beyonce/Taylor Swift/Kendrick Lamar video with the artist and the rest of the world.
You got live performances as well.
I've been saying that part of what's wrong with the music industry is that MTV/BET/VH1 stopped doing all that stuff.
On the internet, you're only going to look up artists that you've heard of. MTV/BET/VH1 exposed you to people you never heard of and didn't know you wanted to hear of. You got to care about an artist like you just met them or something.
