It's the world we live in.
Embrace that shyt, or lead a miserable life worrying about where another dude sticks his dikk.

As men, are we really preoccupied with other people's dating situation?
Is this a salon?

nah, it's the delusional world black men live in  trying our best to fit into other communities since our own is in shambles. but i'll let you cook :whoa:

That's an interesting line of thinking.
I don't think the black community is in "shambles". I think this country is in shambles, and that black folk are caught in the middle.
FWIW, I know plenty of black people doing well in my community, and like them, I'm just trying to get ahead in life.
Everything else just falls into place.

Where do I need to be at when i'm out there for new years Im in Atl but im moving to San fran in jan

it depends on where you wanna be and what you wanna do. i'm not a big club person but if you want that experience i recommend picking an artist you like and buying tickets now because the prices will be creeping up day by day. the strip is absolutely insane for NYE so it won't matter too much where you stay. you can drink on the street but on NYE the cops really crack down so as a heads up, just make sure your bottles are plastic. they don't want anything that can be used as a weapon. also, you can normally wander through most of the hotels, but for this occasion, there are so many people that you will have to be a guest there to get into most of them after about 8-9pm.

bookmark this page: http://www.lasvegasweekly.com this might also help you with your search: http://www.lasvegasweekly.com/night...ightlife-news-notes-kesha-parties-iheart-nye/

they are just now announcing the parties and such. downtown is traditionally cheaper and still a great time but the strip is geared more towards tourists (not nearly as shady, location wise.) and most the people will be there. the basic difference is the strip is clubs and luxury while downtown caters to the bar scene.

if you want to be off the strip i recommend redrock (west side of the city) or southpoint (LV blvd - about 4-5 miles south of the 'strip'). there is also a nice ass resort with a few hotels just outside the city called "lake las vegas". i can't afford the westin but if you can, be my guest. great view, 20 minutes from the real shyt, not nearly as many people. palms and rio are really close to the strip and might be your best bet if you want to be close but not directly on las vegas boulevard.

if you know anyone here and have an idea of what you want to do, do some research on a local's only discount and see if they'll book your room under their name. those discounts can knock anywhere from 10-50% off the price of shyt.

i know i'm rambling but another great thing to do on NYE is park your car because all the buses are free that day. if i missed anything, let me know and i'm down to fill in any gaps. this is a city for players and i'd be more that happy to educate people on shyt that i wish i would have known when i first moved here.
