I tried with this show. It’s just not for me.
I thought they would make it like Cobra Kai where it appeals to younger kids and people like us who grew up with the franchise/show. It seems like they’re targeting pre teens and I ain’t trying to watch that

Definitely don’t get the pre teen vibe from it. Not me anyway

either that or the characters and jokes don’t hit for me. Might be more of a teen demo
It’s 30 rock jokes. So if you don’t like that style then it won’t work for you.
The show is basically a satire of the old show while also being a legitimate narrative as well. So it pokes fun at a lot of saved by the bell conventions while showing what the “real” version of that would be.

It's meta, a self-parodying show. The irony is that in doing it that way, it brushes adult themes in ways the OG never did.
