This is NOT gonna end well for Salman. They need oil at $80. Oil is cratering. Their reserves will exhaust in another decade or so if they don’t keep the price high. And in that same time frame, electric cars will become cheaper, more efficient and more ubiquitous. I don’t see him being King for long after his dad goes. In a few years, he’s gotten into a price war with US/Russia over oil, angered other countries in the OPEC due to said relationship with Russia, kidnapped a Prime Minister, kidnapped multiple family members....twice, waged senseless war in Yemen and killed a journalist publicly in gruesome fashion. The last four or five Saudi Kings have been brothers....all sons of Abdulaziz....there hasn’t been a transfer from father to son in decades. I don’t see that changing.

The increased oil production was just a threat to America and other expensive oil producers. Hopefully it was a wake up call to focus more on other energy resources.

A Republican member of the US Senate has submitted a bill to withdraw US forces from Saudi Arabia if it does not adhere to the plan to reduce oil production, in order to change the direction of the oil price decline that has harmed US energy companies.

lmao this is delusional and will never happen. Probably from an oil producing state and needs to look tough for the companies. Apparently doesn’t realize the Saudis OWN trump and kushner.

I could careless about these O&G barons but the State of Texas budget is in dire peril with these prices. They're going to slash the fukk out of public school funding.

The National Governors Association is calling for $500 billion to the states and local governments from the Federal Government in the next stimulus bill.
